Por não haver concurso nos anos de 2007, 2008 e 2009, a coordenadora Márcia Meirelles (Mãe de Priscilla Meirelles) fez uma pequena seletiva (indicação).
Sua indicação seria a bela morena Larissa Ramos (Miss Earth), o destino não foi tão bom conosco, digamos que mais ou menos, perdemos uma Miss Amazonas Universo, mais ganhamos uma Miss Terra Brasil / Amazonas. É amigos!!!, Larissa Ramos ganhou a vez, é. Ficamos a ver navio...
Márcia Meirelles resolver indicar outra... Não tínhamos muito tempo, dei uns palpites mais não estava valendo, até que Márcia andando por sua faculdade (UNIP-AM) encontrou essa linda moça, de pele acetina branca, cabelos bonitos, delicada, e sorridente... É der repente amigos, espalhará a noticia pela faculdade, que a coordenadora estava atrás de uma moça, linda, alta, de preferência tipo Miss...
A noticia corria nos corredores da faculdade até que chegou à sala de Direito (Curso que por sinal trancou devido sua vida de Miss).
Era o sonho de Cecília ser uma Miss, ainda representar o estado de que tanto ama, seria a sua maior felicidade. Cecília foi até a sala de Márcia Meirelles e conversou com ela.
Na época o Governo não estava ajudando com patrocínio, e não tinha nem outro qualquer, Márcia perguntou se a Miss teria condições de pagar, é a mesma respondeu que sim, que era o grande sonho da vida dela e que tinha que conversar com a mãe.
